For regular timed consutations, we fully bulk bill patients that hold Pension, Health Care, Seniors Health Care or DVA cards,
as well as children 15 years or younger.

Short Consult
In Person/Phone Consult- Time allocated: under 6min
- Medicare rebate: $20.55
- Phone consults are only available if you have had a consult in person at the clinic in the last 12 months
Standard Consult
In Person/Phone/Video Consult- Time allocated: 6 to 20min
- Medicare rebate: $45.05
- Telehealth consults are only available if you have had a consult in person at the clinic in the last 12 months
Long Consult
In Person/Phone/Video Consult- Time allocated: 20min to 40min
- Medicare Rebate: $87.10
- Long Telehealth consult is for MyMedicare registered patients only
Longer Consult
In Person/Phone/Video Consult- Time allocated: 40min & over
- Medicare rebate: $128.35
- Longer Telehealth consult is for MyMedicare registered patients only

ResultsWhen a patient has a follow up appointment to discuss their results, whether in person or over the phone, this is still considered an appointment and may incur fees.
Our Doctors set their fees based on their individual discretion. While one Doctor may choose to bulk bill for certain appointments, another may not.
We kindly ask that you keep this in mind when considering the possibility of no fees for your next visit.
For referred services, you should contact the referral location prior to your appointment to find out if there are any out of pockets fees involved.
Telehealth
Ferngate can offer Telephone and Video consultations to patients that have attended the clinic in person within the 12 months prior to their appointment.
An extended length consultation can be offered when a patient is signed up to our clinic with MyMedicare.
